What you will do

• Review and coordinate business-critical contracts, including NDAs, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and lease agreements.
• Conduct regulatory research on transportation network services, the gig economy, insurance, and data privacy laws.
• Track GDPR compliance and manage Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) with partners and vendors.
• Improve legal team efficiency by developing ticketing systems, document management, and KPI tracking.
• Maintain and optimize internal legal forms, processes, and database systems.
• Provide administrative support for special projects and internal corporate governance.

Requirements

• Currently completing your Rechtsreferendariat and eligible for a station placement with an in-house legal team.
• Fluent in English and German (written and verbal).
• Must be based in Berlin for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Exposure to or strong interest in tech, data privacy, or regulatory law, with familiarity with GDPR.
• Ability to use internal databases to extract insights and support business decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
