What you will do
- Provide technical expertise on EC&I systems to support the wider design team.
- Develop and interpret design documentation including SLDs, loop diagrams, and GA drawings.
- Perform electrical design calculations such as cable sizing and fault levels using AMTECH ProDesign.
- Conduct instrumentation design calculations and system assessments.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design dossiers and technical documentation packages.
- Participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant engineering or design role.
- IET BS 7671 18th Edition qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, EPLAN, AMTECH ProDesign, and DIALux.
- Professional registration as IEng or CEng, or actively working towards it.
