Legal Counsel (SaaS)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements, and MSAs.
• Provide solution-focused legal advice to Sales and Contract & Licensing teams to manage and mitigate organizational risk.
• Manage company secretarial services for the main UK entity and 25 subsidiary companies across the JATO Group.
• Implement and improve legal strategies, including IP protection and the maintenance of legal templates.
• Design and deliver legal training modules to the business to promote compliance best practices.
• Collaborate with external counsel, accountants, and auditors to ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in England and Wales with at least 3 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Minimum 1 year of in-house experience and training with a major UK firm.
• Experience working for a SaaS business is required.
• Strong international experience and commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
