What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of three specialists responsible for Marine Liability claims in London.
• Manage open market lead primary and excess claims and oversee delegated claims arrangements.
• Coordinate claim allocation between the London and Leeds teams.
• Provide technical input into product wordings and collaborate on underwriting business plans.
• Produce and present monthly and quarterly reports on claims trends and incurred movements for the reserving process.
• Drive high performance within the team through KPI monitoring and process optimization.

Requirements

• Proven leadership capability or the ability to lead a professional team.
• Extensive experience as a London Market claims practitioner specializing in Marine Liability.
• Deep understanding of high-value, complex, international, and multi-party claims.
• Strong relationships with key brokers and excellent client management skills.
• Knowledge of the Lloyd’s and Company markets.
• Proficiency in London Market ECF or CLASS, as well as MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be based in London, UK
