What you will do

• Assemble robots including mechanical structures, electro-mechanical components, and wiring harnesses
• Perform PCB rework tasks such as soldering and hot air rework
• Operate machine tools like milling machines, lathes, 3D printers, band saws, and drill presses
• Test, diagnose, calibrate components and assemblies, and perform firmware/software upgrades
• Maintain inventories of components, lab assets, and robotics development equipment
• Support facility expansion, oversee subcontractors, and prioritize facility safety

Requirements

• Must have an Associate’s degree or technical certification in Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Training in safety practices with ability to assess and mitigate worker risks
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Valid Class C license or ability to obtain one
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders with PPE

Nice to have

• Experience in industrial environments
• Familiarity with local construction codes
