What you will do

• Design and validate PCBAs for actuator and motor control systems including gate drivers and power distribution.
• Conduct conceptual designs and trade studies to support hardware decision-making.
• Manage signal integrity, noise isolation, and thermal considerations across analog, digital, and power domains.
• Review design artifacts such as schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
• Perform hands-on debugging and validation during system integration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of industry experience in hardware design.
• Solid fundamentals in designing, building, and testing PCBAs.
• Mastery of Altium Designer for both schematics and layout.
• Experience with motor controller design including gate drivers, H-bridges, FOC, and BLDC/PMSM topologies.
• Strong debugging instincts and ability to drive hardware solutions quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with power electronics like DC-DC converters and battery management.
• Familiarity with current sensing, encoder interfaces, and motor feedback circuits.
• Experience with small form factor boards such as HDI or flex.
• Embedded programming skills for microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs.
• Background in robotics, automotive, or drone systems.
