What you will do
- Design and validate PCBAs for actuator and motor control systems including gate drivers and power distribution.
- Conduct conceptual designs and trade studies to support hardware decision-making.
- Manage signal integrity, noise isolation, and thermal considerations across analog, digital, and power domains.
- Review design artifacts such as schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
- Perform hands-on debugging and validation during system integration activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of industry experience in hardware design.
- Solid fundamentals in designing, building, and testing PCBAs.
- Mastery of Altium Designer for both schematics and layout.
- Experience with motor controller design including gate drivers, H-bridges, FOC, and BLDC/PMSM topologies.
- Strong debugging instincts and ability to drive hardware solutions quickly.
Nice to have
- Experience with power electronics like DC-DC converters and battery management.
- Familiarity with current sensing, encoder interfaces, and motor feedback circuits.
- Experience with small form factor boards such as HDI or flex.
- Embedded programming skills for microcontrollers, DSPs, or FPGAs.
- Background in robotics, automotive, or drone systems.
