Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 annually

What you will do
- Develop conceptual power architectures and conduct trade studies to support key design decisions.
- Design and validate PCBAs for critical humanoid components, including power converters and motor controllers.
- Support and lead design reviews for schematics and layouts.
- Contribute to system integration and test activities, including execution and debugging.
Requirements
- Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of industry experience in power electronics.
- Knowledge of power converter topologies and control theory.
- Experience working with low voltage (<60V) DC/DC power converters or motor controllers.
- Experience sizing and designing discrete power electronics (controllers, gate drivers, MOSFETs, inductors, XFRMs, caps, sensing, etc).
- Must be based in San Jose, CA for 5 days/week onsite work.
Nice to have
- Experience with Altium and PCB layout for power converters and EMC mitigations.
- Experience simulating power electronic circuits.
- Experience with high voltage applications and protection circuitry.
- Knowledge of embedded control systems and/or digital power control.
- Strong knowledge of C or Python.
