What you will do

• Perform PCB assembly testing, rework, and modification tasks.
• Test and debug electronic circuits and systems using electrical schematics.
• Execute device tests and document procedures and results.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in electronic assemblies.
• Maintain lab safety, ESD awareness programs, and equipment calibration schedules.
• Perform quality control checks on hardware and manage procurement of lab supplies.

Requirements

• A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on electronics experience in a lab or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in soldering and desoldering (SMD and through-hole) using soldering irons and hot air guns.
• Ability to interpret basic electrical schematics and layouts.
• Experience working with digital multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Must be based in and work on-site in Boulder, CO, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Nice to have

• IPC J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610 Certification.
• Experience with RF / microwave testing and measurements.
• Basic Linux command line navigation and Python scripting for automated test procedures.
