TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Brookings, SD. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Salary: $64,800 - $89,100

What you will do

  • Lead and coach employees across disciplines including benefits, compensation, staffing, and organizational development.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for hourly and salaried positions, including screening and orientation.
  • Initiate and lead HR projects aligned with business strategies to meet corporate objectives.
  • Analyze data from company reporting systems to interpret trends and inform HR decisions.
  • Provide expert advice on company policies and conduct salary reviews.
  • Administer salary programs and maintain updated employee handbooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of HR experience OR High School Diploma/GED and 6+ years of HR experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Proven ability to handle policy and procedural inquiries.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting reporting data.

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of HR experience specifically within a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Extensive experience in recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Strong critical thinking and root-cause problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
