What you will do

• Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams through coaching, feedback, and professional development planning.
• Guide the design and evolution of scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems across multiple product domains.
• Own delivery outcomes by refining roadmaps, identifying risks, and breaking down complex initiatives into actionable plans.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.
• Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent while building a culture of trust and psychological safety.
• Act as a senior technical leader, diving deep into architecture discussions and managing technical trade-offs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including senior engineers or managers.
• Proven track record of designing and operating complex, distributed systems at scale.
• Ability to lead teams through ambiguity and align stakeholders toward shared outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-impact, business-critical initiatives end-to-end.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern engineering practices like CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
