• Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant microservices.
• Own the quality and reliability of services through improved testing, observability, and operational excellence.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions while identifying risks and trade-offs.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to ship changes safely and efficiently.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor team members and evolve engineering standards and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Extensive experience building and operating cloud-based microservices (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages (Go, Java, Python, C#, or Rust).
• Deep understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go and Python.
• Knowledge of data ingestion pipelines (Airflow, AWS Step Functions).
• Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with frontend development (React).
• Experience evaluating AI/ML solutions for production environments.
