Salary: $157,000–$235,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate critical scalable services such as user identity and friend graphs.
• Collaborate across teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure high quality through rigorous testing, debugging, and adherence to production standards.
• Optimize system availability, scalability, and cost management.
• Integrate AI tools into engineering workflows to increase velocity while maintaining architectural integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of post-graduation software development experience.
• Proven experience with distributed systems and operating highly available systems at scale.
• Ability to independently execute medium-sized features and participate in incident resolution.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bellevue office 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience with NoSQL, Memcache, Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and NLP tools.
