What you will do

  • Install, configure, and secure SQL Server databases supporting mission-critical client operations.
  • Proactively monitor database infrastructure, respond to alerts, and resolve issues to prevent client impact.
  • Execute database backups, configure policies, and lead disaster recovery activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including performance tuning, patching, and resiliency optimization.
  • Collaborate with client services and deployment teams to resolve requests and support software releases.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and keep the configuration management database (CMDB) current.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Westwood, Massachusetts, USA
  • 5–7 years of hands-on SQL Server database administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and later versions.
  • Solid SQL and PL/SQL skills.
  • Experience working in Windows O/S environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud-based backup and recovery solutions (Rubrik, eVault).
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ticketing systems.
