What you will do
- Install, configure, and maintain DBMS across multiple environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage user access and implement stringent security protocols to safeguard sensitive data.
- Design and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies to mitigate risk and ensure data integrity.
- Provide expert-level support to end users and application developers, diagnosing and resolving complex database issues.
- Monitor and fine-tune systems for optimal efficiency, applying proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct usage analysis and growth forecasting to ensure scalability in line with business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle database administration.
- Proven expertise in performance tuning, backup strategies, and security configuration.
- Must be based in or able to work from Rome, Italy (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server implementation and management.
- Experience in IT automation and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and AD FS.
