What you will do

• Lead and scale the legal function to support the needs of a high-performing sales team.
• Develop and implement legal strategies that facilitate revenue growth and support business objectives.
• Oversee the negotiation and execution of commercial contracts, including reseller and nondisclosure agreements.
• Implement AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT to increase operational impact and productivity.
• Provide expert legal advice on contracts, compliance, intellectual property, and risk management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to ensure favorable legal terms.

Requirements

• J.D. degree and active membership in good standing of the California bar.
• 3-5 years of contract management experience, specifically negotiating complex enterprise agreements with Fortune 500 customers.
• Experience with privacy and data protection laws, including HIPAA, FINRA, GDPR, and CCPA.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws.
• Experience working within teams that include both local and overseas members.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
