Sourcing Manager (Hardware)

What you will do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for contract manufacturing supporting NPI builds and production ramp.
• Identify, qualify, and manage global suppliers with the capacity to manufacture final products and packaging.
• Partner with Industrial and Product Design Engineering to ensure materials and construction align with design intent and manufacturability.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract development, including pricing, tooling, and long-term supply agreements.
• Support NPI cycles across EVT, DVT, and PVT to ensure supplier readiness and mitigate supply risks.
• Drive cost optimization through value engineering, material selection improvements, and supplier benchmarking.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or sourcing within eyewear, hardware, or other consumer products.
• Experience managing suppliers for final assembly and packaging in consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of retail and protective packaging solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Module) during product development.
• Proven track record supporting NPI and managing supplier readiness through mass production.
• Demonstrated ability to lead commercial negotiations and manage MVA contracts.
