What you will do
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies specifically for raw PCBs.
- Lead supplier selection, qualification, and segmentation to ensure a resilient supply base.
- Manage supplier relationships through performance reviews, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives using should-cost models, market benchmarks, and value engineering.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations on New Product Introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability.
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-source dependencies and geopolitical exposure.
Requirements
- 8-15 years of experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or procurement.
- Experience with PCBs or complex electronic components.
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills with proven success in cost management.
- Ability to analyze technical specifications and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to travel up to 15%, both domestic and international.
- Must be located in or able to commute to North Reading, MA, US.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or Business.
- Experience in EMS/CM environments or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
- Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes, stackups, and DFM principles.
- Experience in the high-tech, semiconductor, or capital equipment industry.
