Senior Accountant

TL;DR

Senior Accountant (Finance): Managing complex accounting duties, financial statement preparation, and consolidation with an accent on GAAP compliance and internal controls. Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Lincoln, NE office for those living within 30 miles.

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually.

What you will do

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including cash flow analysis.
• Perform complex GAAP accounting calculations and journal entries.
• Develop and implement solutions for continuous process improvement.
• Participate in testing and reviewing internal controls for SOX 404 compliance.
• Research and apply new accounting guidance to company operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external organizations on accounting initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• 4-year degree in Business Administration or Accounting.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement consolidation.
• Experience with internal controls and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Experience with bank payments and credit card processing.
• SEC reporting experience.
