What you will do

• Perform monthly close tasks and prepare journal entries for all revenue-related activities.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide guidance on complex revenue transactions.
• Analyze financial data and variances to budget to provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support internal control maintenance.
• Mentor staff accountants and contribute to departmental best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in revenue accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.
• Proficiency with ERP systems like NetSuite and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Public accounting background.
