What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including client engagement letters and vendor contracts.
• Support employment law compliance and HR matters throughout the employment lifecycle.
• Lead legal due diligence and integration processes for acquired entities.
• Manage corporate governance responsibilities, including state filings and entity records.
• Coordinate intellectual property portfolios, insurance renewals, and litigation matters.
• Implement process improvements for contracting workflows and utilize AI tools to enhance legal efficiency.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
• 8–10 years of experience in contract, employment, intellectual property, and transactional law.
• Strong ability to distill complex legal issues for non-legal audiences.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of professionalism and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance.
• Prior in-house counsel or private practice experience.
• Healthcare industry experience.
