What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and empower an agile development team through regular 1-on-1s and career development support.
• Manage team performance, including hiring, onboarding, and conducting formal performance reviews.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners to align on roadmap feasibility and define upcoming work priorities.
• Collaborate across backend, device, and in-reality teams to ensure technical cohesion and architectural alignment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for production escalations and triage support issues into actionable tasks.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience directly managing and mentoring software engineers.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong foundation in OOP and design patterns.
• Proven track record with Agile/Scrum methodologies and team performance metrics.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
