What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of trust, clarity, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle for a customer-facing web application.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and quality engineering to deliver high-quality software.
• Manage technical debt strategically while balancing near-term delivery with long-term system health.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted workflows and automation to improve team productivity.
• Participate in engineering on-call rotations and budget planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 12+ years of industry experience with at least 4+ years in technical leadership managing teams of 6+ engineers.
• Proven experience developing or leading teams that build customer-facing web applications.
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one of: Go, C#, or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of React, modern frontend patterns, and core web technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, AWS, and microservices architectures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD integration.
• Familiarity with observability practices and modern monitoring tools like Dynatrace or Grafana.
