Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst (Federal)

Location: Must be based in the United States (EST hours)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead client workshops to elicit and document business requirements aligned with agency mission goals.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionality.
• Collaborate with Agile Coaches to design and distribute standard operating procedures.
• Review user stories for accuracy and ensure they meet the definition of ready for sprint planning.
• Mentor junior analysts and developers on federal domain constraints and platform best practices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 3+ years with ServiceNow.
• Proven experience in the federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies).
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum and backlog management tools like Jira or ServiceNow Agile.

Nice to have

• ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe PO/PM).
