What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC lathe programs using G-code or conversational software.
• Operate grinders for outside diameter, inside diameter, and surface finishing.
• Perform miscellaneous layout and handwork tasks.
• Verify finished work pieces against specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Work efficiently under time constraints to support production, maintenance, and engineering departments.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a tool room machine shop environment.
• Skilled in operating a variety of tooling machines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure work accuracy and safety.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mig & Tig welding.
• Proficiency in Gibbs Cam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
