What you will do

• Plan set-up and operate machine shop tools including lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders.
• Repair and optimize production tooling to meet safety, quality, and production targets.
• Verify component dimensions and alignment using micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.
• Install, inspect, and adjust dies to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Perform die repair, troubleshooting, and machinery operation to ensure defect-free products.
• Operate overhead cranes safely to transport dies within the facility.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to work on-site in Pottstown, PA, US.
• Journeyman classification in Toolmaking OR a bona fide apprenticeship certificate.
• Alternatively, eight years of proven practical experience in toolmaking.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools like micrometers and thickness gauges.
• Ability to strictly follow safety procedures and use required PPE.
