What you will do

• Plan, layout, and perform machining operations and bench work to construct, alter, and repair tools, dies, jigs, and gauges.
• Program and operate all CNC equipment to build tool and fixture components from supplied drawings.
• Analyze and resolve production issues related to tools, fixtures, and jigs as a technical expert.
• Perform bench operations including grinding, fitting, aligning, timing, and calibrating adjustable mechanisms.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams to support production and trial runs.
• Recommend design changes to parts, molds, and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of diversified tool, die, and gauge-making experience.
• Extensive knowledge of tool making, machining technology, and mechanical principles.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM programming, metallurgy, and precision measuring procedures.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and operate manual lathes, mills, and grinding equipment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Must be able to work onsite in Franklin, NH.
