What you will do

• Collaborate with engineering groups to identify and resolve design issues early in the new product development cycle.
• Manage the transition of new products from the concept stage to volume manufacturing via contract manufacturers.
• Develop assembly process flows and identify risks by building electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Create detailed assembly process documentation for pilot production and contract manufacturers.
• Design, qualify, and implement assembly tools and fixtures for product assembly.
• Validate packaging solutions with suppliers and train personnel on assembly methods.

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering position.
• Proficiency in designing and documenting parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of developing assembly process flows from solid models and bills of materials.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in the US facility.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (0-10%).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SolidWorks PDM.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
