What you will do

• Set up CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment using blueprints and job specifications.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, collets, and work-holding devices.
• Verify work offsets, tool offsets, and machine parameters for accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspections in coordination with the Quality Assurance team.
• Troubleshoot tooling wear, fixture issues, and machine operation problems.
• Support CNC operators with adjustments and ensure consistent production flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work on-site in Franklin, NH.
• Proven experience setting up CNC lathes and/or milling machines.
• Proficiency with precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of safety standards.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of CNC setup experience in a production environment.
• Experience diagnosing and replacing worn tooling.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
