TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Driving B2B sales and merchant acquisition for the Genius POS and payment platform with an accent on field prospecting and consultative selling. Focus on managing the full sales cycle, conducting in-person demos, and expanding market share within the retail and restaurant sectors.

Location: Buffalo, New York. Must be based in the local area and able to spend at least 75% of time in the field

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (OTE)

What you will do

  • Sell Genius POS and other payment solutions to small and mid-sized businesses in the restaurant, retail, and service industries.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, demos, negotiation, and closing.
  • Deliver consultative, value-based presentations both in-person and virtually.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking using Atlas and Salesforce.
  • Upsell and cross-sell new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades to existing merchants.
  • Stay current on fintech trends and product updates to serve as a trusted technology advisor.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, fintech, or merchant services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills for face-to-face and virtual sales.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to spend 75%+ of time in the field.
  • Must be based in the Buffalo, NY area.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and competitive drive to exceed targets.

Nice to have

  • Experience maintaining records and documenting client interactions in Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with the restaurant or retail industries.
