What you will do

• Process and enter invoices into the system while validating against purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies by collaborating with Purchasing and Receiving departments.
• Reconcile supplier accounts by verifying monthly statements and internal documentation.
• Monitor discount opportunities and ensure credit is received for outstanding discrepancies.
• Respond to inquiries from external vendors and internal managers regarding payment status and sales tax.
• Assist in the monthly financial statement closing process by preparing reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or Associate’s degree with relevant experience.
• Must be able to work onsite in Syracuse, NY.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools, particularly Excel.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Background in manufacturing or telecommunications industries.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, MediusFlow, or Concur.
