TL;DR

Account Manager (Employee Benefits): Managing a book of business and serving as the primary contact for benefit-related service needs with an accent on client advisory and renewal process management. Location: Remote (Texas). Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year

What you will do

  • Manage and maintain an assigned book of business, serving as the main point of contact for benefit-related needs.
  • Collaborate with Benefits Consultants and Client Executives to oversee the entire renewal process.
  • Conduct marketing analysis to determine and recommend competitive benefits options for clients.
  • Delegate work assignments to internal service team members to ensure deliverables exceed expectations.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sale opportunities to grow the book of business.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, consultants, and internal shared service teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or a consultative employee benefits role.
  • Current Life and Health license.
  • Prior experience working within a broker agency or benefit administration firm.
  • Thorough knowledge of group health and ancillary products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship is mandatory.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience with database applications.
  • Practical knowledge of quoting processes and tools.
