TL;DR
IT Asset Management Specialist (ITAM/ServiceNow): Execute day-to-day IT asset management across the full technology lifecycle—tracking devices, provisioning equipment, managing inventory, and supporting end-user onboarding with an accent on accurate ServiceNow records, inventory counts, and reliable hardware/software provisioning. Focus on resolving ServiceNow tickets, coordinating equipment deployment and disposal, and troubleshooting basic-to-intermediate device and software issues while maintaining stable IT asset program accuracy.
Location: Remote - Oregon
Salary: $19.80 - $29.70 hourly (Target compensation: $33.75/hr)

What you will do
- Track IT assets from procurement to disposal, maintaining accurate, up-to-date records in ServiceNow.
- Update asset tracking with assignment, location, and status changes; maintain hardware specs, warranties, and service agreements.
- Run scheduled and ad hoc physical/virtual inventory counts and ensure correct inventory levels for end-user provisioning.
- Provision hardware and software for onboarding (Windows and macOS) and support large-scale site moves (openings, closures, remodels).
- Coordinate equipment disposal with employees, locations, and approved recycling vendors; resolve ServiceNow tickets and document actions.
- Provide basic-to-intermediate troubleshooting via phone/remote tools, guide end users, and escalate recurring issues with clear findings.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in IT asset management, IT operations, or a related support role.
- Working knowledge of IT asset management concepts and technology lifecycle tracking practices.
- Hands-on experience with hardware provisioning, imaging, and device deployment for Windows and macOS.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing/ITSM platforms; ServiceNow ITAM experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate asset records; awareness of ITIL methodology and IT service management principles.
- Remote-first role with occasional on-site support for inventory events, equipment handling, and large-scale move support.
