What you will do

• Provide technical support for computers, networks, and a VA web-based application.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair personal computers, servers, and network equipment.
• Resolve client issues via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Develop training materials and instruct users on hardware and software usage.
• Maintain network diagrams, trouble logs, and a knowledge base.
• Collaborate with software and hardware specialists to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
• Experience providing telephonic help desk support from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with end users in sensitive situations.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL.
• Experience creating reports from gathered metrics and web analytics.
