What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for IT goods and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.
• Research global, regional, and country markets to identify cost-saving and quality-improvement opportunities.
• Build, negotiate, and manage relationships with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Monitor supplier performance, preferred-supplier utilization, service levels, and commercial arrangements.
• Analyze third-party spend and use data to support category decisions and business objectives.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, TDS, HR, Legal, Project Management, and other stakeholders to deliver category strategies.

Requirements

• Must work in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5–8 years of category management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of IT procurement and relevant technology categories.
• Contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, analytics, project management, and continuous improvement skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or C.P.M.
• Evidence of continued professional growth.
