What you will do

• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters in GKE using Terraform.
• Design and implement golden paths and automation strategies to enable developer self-service.
• Create infrastructure solutions that allow development teams to build and deploy safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cloud environment compliance with SOC2, ISO-27001, and Cyber Essentials standards.
• Act as the primary technical point-of-contact for GCP and Kubernetes-related queries.
• Participate in a rolling on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Extensive experience administering and optimizing large-scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes tooling, including Helm and Kustomize.
• Proven experience with GitOps methodologies and tools such as ArgoCD.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and GKE architecture.
• Strong Terraform skills for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Solid programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Must be based in the UK

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and CDK.
• Background in implementing cloud compliance standards (SOC2, ISO-27001).
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog.
• Experience implementing cloud infrastructure security best practices.
