Platform Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes)

Location: Bengaluru, India; hybrid with at least three days per week in the office

Company

Operates a real-time Live Video platform and an AI Agents platform that automates patient access workflows in U.S. healthcare.

What you will do

• Own and operate production infrastructure across multiple GKE clusters supporting real-time video workloads and AI agent pipelines.
• Manage GitOps deployments with Argo CD and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting stacks with product-specific SLOs for video latency, media quality, AI workflow reliability, and task throughput.
• Support WebRTC infrastructure, media server scaling, low-latency networking, LLM inference infrastructure, asynchronous task queues, and healthcare integrations.
• Lead or support incident response, cluster upgrades, disaster recovery, and security hardening across platforms.
• Implement compliance-aligned controls including encryption, audit logging, network segmentation, vulnerability scanning, dependency audits, and policy enforcement.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on production Kubernetes experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and GitOps workflows using Argo CD or similar tools.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Linux systems, shell scripting, and basic networking, including UDP/TCP behavior.
• Experience with open-source monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required. Working knowledge of IAM, network policies, pod security, RBAC, and secrets management is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale, multi-tenant, or mixed-workload infrastructure and GCP/GKE.
• Exposure to WebRTC, SFUs, TURN/STUN servers, media server orchestration, or AI/ML inference workloads.
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault, Sealed Secrets, Trivy, OPA/Gatekeeper, Falco, or healthcare compliance frameworks such as HIPAA.
• Open-source contribution experience and interest in evolving infrastructure, security, and platform engineering practices.
