Production Configuration Management Analyst (Aerospace)

Location: York, Pennsylvania, United States

Salary: Up to $37.51 per hour on a non-benefitted W2 contract.

hirify.global is staffing a one-year production configuration management contract for a top aerospace and defense client, with possible extension and temp-to-hire potential.

What you will do

• Lead the processing of Manufacturing Change Notices and define implementation plans.
• Review Technical Drawing Packages and change documents against current Manufacturing Bills of Materials.
• Identify impacts on MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with manufacturing functions to gather current configuration information.
• Arrange and conduct team meetings to define change implementation plans and follow-up tasks.
• Provide technical input and guidance for manufacturing problem solving.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience reading technical drawings for multiple programs and knowledge of Bills of Materials.
• Knowledge or experience with EPDM, Oracle, Item Master, drawing files, Bills of Materials, and routings.
• Experience using OBIEE to export files for highlighting MBOM changes and proficiency with Excel systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with understanding of manufacturing processes and non-conforming part rework or upgrades.
