Manufacturing Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Full-time role with first-shift hours of 5:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or second-shift hours of 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; evening and weekend work may be required for critical milestones.

Salary: $19–$38 USD per hour, depending on the coordinator level.

What you will do

• Coordinate and monitor component movement through purchasing, receiving inspection, inventory, and manufacturing work centers.
• Facilitate outside processing and coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Support logistics operations by optimizing workflow staging and maintaining production flow.
• Maintain accurate system data and reports covering requirements, milestones, limitations, and schedules.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, quality assurance, schedulers, and managers to release production runs and resolve blockers.
• Escalate part shortages, purchase order delays, BOM discrepancies, and other issues to the appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach, California.
• Must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control requirements.
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends when required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unassisted.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience with MRP or ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• At least 2 years of Smartsheet experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a self-starting approach.
