TL;DR

Senior Manager, Total Rewards (HR): Designing and executing comprehensive compensation, benefits, and well-being strategies to attract and retain top talent with an accent on equitable pay structures and self-funded medical plans. Focus on evolving reward frameworks, leveraging data analytics for financial modeling, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Location: Hybrid (4 days a week in office) in Tysons, Virginia

What you will do

  • Define and evolve the Total Rewards philosophy to ensure programs remain competitive and aligned with business growth.
  • Lead the compensation framework, including salary structures, pay bands, and incentive design.
  • Oversee all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave of absence programs across 39 U.S. states and Canada.
  • Build a Total Rewards analytics function to model financial scenarios and measure program effectiveness.
  • Direct annual compensation and benefits cycles, overseeing renewals and vendor negotiations.
  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of compensation and benefits professionals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Total Rewards experience with deep expertise in both compensation and benefits.
  • 6+ years of experience leading or managing teams.
  • Hands-on experience managing self-funded medical/Rx plans, including financial modeling.
  • Proven track record of building or significantly evolving compensation frameworks and job architectures.
  • Solid knowledge of key regulations: ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FLSA, and pay equity laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with compensation survey platforms like Radford, Mercer, or WTW.
  • Proficiency with Workday HCM, specifically Workday Benefits or Advanced Compensation.
  • Exposure to Total Rewards within M&A or major organizational transformations.
  • CEBS, CCP, or CBP certification.
