What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from inbound lead to close for companies with up to 250 employees.
  • Act as a technical advisor for data engineers and architects, troubleshooting schema design and ingestion patterns.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the self-serve and product-led customer base to build commercial relationships.
  • Partner with Solutions Engineers and internal Product/Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and contribute to technical sales playbooks.
  • Engage with the developer community via technical meetups and online forums.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Technical foundation from experience as a data engineer, solutions architect, or software engineer.
  • Proficiency with the modern data stack, including columnar databases (e.g., hirify.global, Snowflake, BigQuery) and SQL-heavy workflows.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles such as pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to simplify complex concepts for engineering audiences.
