What you will do

  • Develop sophisticated benefit designs and renewal strategies to address complex client issues.
  • Manage an up-market client portfolio (500+ employees) with a focus on self-funded plan structures.
  • Collaborate with account management on pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and open enrollment.
  • Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability while ensuring high client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors.
  • Ensure strict accuracy of client data in CRM and stay updated on insurance market trends.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
  • Valid life and health insurance license.
  • Experience managing up-market clients with 500+ employees.
  • Strong understanding of complex benefit plan design and funding strategies.
  • Knowledge of compliance issues governed by HIPAA, ERISA, Tax Code SEC 125, and PPACA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with database applications.
