What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations between the platform and customer EHR systems like EPIC and Cerner.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flow.
• Design and develop sophisticated REST API platforms for comprehensive system integration.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of EHR integrations and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Create documentation to support integration processes and workflows.
• Communicate project status and technical challenges effectively to both internal teams and clients.

Requirements

• Must reside within the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 10+ years of experience as an integration engineer, software engineer, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of proven experience integrating third-party vendor projects with large EHR systems including Epic.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7v2, and SMART on FHIR.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Nice to have

• Epic Certification(s).
• Prior experience with DICOM and other interoperability standards.
• Cloud experience.
