TL;DR

Integration Specialist (Medtech): Developing and maintaining complex healthcare integration components and database systems with an accent on medical standards like FHIR, HL7, and DICOM. Focus on building seamless end-to-end data flows, managing Oracle databases, and ensuring system interoperability for critical healthcare R&D projects.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid model).

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain integration components using Mirth Connect, SOAP, REST, and JSON.
  • Design, implement, and administer Oracle database environments.
  • Execute end-to-end healthcare integration projects ensuring compliance with medical standards.
  • Implement and support interoperability via HL7, FHIR, and DICOM protocols.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and system analysis to resolve integration bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with international teams to support innovative software engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or a related technical field.
  • 4-5 years of professional experience in a similar integration or development role.
  • Strong technical proficiency in database design, administration, and PL/SQL.
  • In-depth knowledge of medical standards including DICOM, HL7, and IHE.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
