What you will do

• Process multi-state payroll cycles and off-cycle runs accurately within Workday.
• Reconcile payroll data and audit results to ensure federal, state, and local compliance.
• Monitor stock and equity transaction settlements and execute timely tax deposits.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Total Rewards on compensation, leaves, and terminations.
• Document and standardize payroll processes to reduce manual work and single points of failure.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and Workday Payroll Agents to improve processing speed and audit workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Proven experience with Workday Payroll.
• Working knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and IRS deposit rules.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with the ability to manage non-negotiable deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and interest in applying AI tools to payroll workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with equity or stock-based payroll.
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification.
