What you will do

• Plan and design complex manufacturing processes for subcomponent and optical module assembly.
• Analyze equipment layout, workflow, and workforce utilization to maximize production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and establish robust process controls.
• Write work instructions and provide training for direct labor personnel.
• Monitor and improve yield performance using SPC and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Support the transfer of new products from R&D to full-scale manufacturing.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, or Laser Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must comply with ITAR regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills using design of experiments and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with electro-optical equipment like OSAs, oscilloscopes, and power meters.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MEMS devices or optoelectronic device processing.
• Experience with software-based testing tools such as VB.NET and Labview.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification/experience.
