Head of Delivery

What you will do

• Support squads through the squad-level delivery framework, from problem validation to scaled delivery, including gate preparation and governance.
• Facilitate quarterly planning and sprint-level ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, planning) and help teams continuously improve delivery practice.
• Define and track success criteria with squad leads, product managers, and leadership; ensure capacity data and context are available for planning.
• Capture, track, and communicate risks and dependencies with clear ownership and mitigation plans; provide delivery progress reporting (release/sprint burndowns, velocity, and insights).
• Establish and run steering groups, manage stakeholder knowledge and sentiment, and coordinate outward communications across the wider business.
• Act as an escalation point for cross-squad issues and coordinate change management, testing, and business readiness across product, engineering, and operational teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience leading delivery across multiple teams or workstreams simultaneously in digital/technology environments.
• Experience with agile planning cycles and structured programme governance (e.g., gated delivery frameworks) with confidence facilitating them.
• Strong forecasting and planning skills to bring structure and clarity to complex, fast-moving programmes.
• Proven stakeholder management experience, including senior leaders, without relying on formal authority.
• Comfort working with international stakeholders and adapting communication and governance to different contexts and cultures.
• Collaborative, empathetic communication style with experience coaching/facilitating teams to improve rather than directing.

Nice to have

• Experience in the media, audio, or streaming industry.
• Working familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
