Senior Specialist, CAE Engineering (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Coordinate CAE activities for child seats, wheeled goods, furniture, and sports goods developed across Europe, China, and the US.
• Define CAE processes, material models, and best practices throughout product development.
• Investigate module-level testing processes and perform static simulations to verify product integrity and safety.
• Establish simulation environments and correlate analytical results with internal and external tests.
• Optimize structural geometries and material selection for performance, cost, and weight.
• Manage external CAE service providers and support global projects through modified work shifts or travel.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in finite element analysis or multi-body dynamics, including fatigue and damage tolerance calculations.
• Knowledge of FEM, MBD, and simulation tools such as HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, LS-DYNA, Radioss, and HyperLife.
• Experience in CAE automation and advanced simulation techniques; exposure to AI-driven tools is advantageous.
• Independent, structured, analytical, and reliable working style with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• CAE experience in occupant safety, wheeled goods, or furniture.
• German language skills.
