What you will do

• Coordinate CAE activities for child seats, wheeled goods, and furniture developed in Europe, China, and the US.
• Define processes, material models, and best practices for CAE across all product development phases.
• Perform static simulations and investigate module-level testing to ensure product integrity and safety.
• Manage communication and activities with external service providers.
• Establish and correlate new simulation environments with internal and external test results.
• Optimize structural geometries and material selection for performance, cost, and weight.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field of education.
• Professional experience in FEA, MBD, and fatigue and damage tolerance calculations.
• Proficiency with simulation tools like HyperWorks, LS-PrePost, LS-DYNA, Radioss, or HyperLife.
• Willingness to support global projects through modified work shifts or travel.
• English: Fluency (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Experience in CAE automation and AI-driven simulation tools.
• Background in occupant safety, wheeled goods, or furniture.
• Proficiency in German.
