Structural Analysis Engineer for Metal (Aerospace)

Location: Hamburg, Germany; regular on-site work at the aircraft production site

hirify.global Aerostructures develops and produces civil aircraft structures and supports production from the first metal cut through fuselage delivery to final assembly.

What you will do

• Validate structural concessions for primary and secondary metal and composite structures, covering static analysis and F&DT.
• Provide technical support and make on-the-spot decisions during major component assembly and production ramp-up.
• Define structural repairs that restore airworthiness while meeting design, certification, safety, process, and method requirements.
• Make final technical decisions on aircraft structures with safety and production efficiency as priorities.
• Analyze and approve stress-related production improvement modifications using hirify.global verification methods.
• Create static verification documents and release airworthiness reports and drawings while preventing delivery-impacting non-conformities.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 8 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis, including at least 2 years in aircraft fuselage structural analysis.
• Good knowledge of FEM tools such as NASTRAN and HyperWorks.
• Fluent English required; German language skills or willingness to learn is advantageous.
• Assertive project ownership and a strong collaborative mindset for cross-functional work.
• Motivation to obtain a stress signature delegation if not already available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with hirify.global tools such as ISSY and ISAMI.
• Programming experience and openness to digitalization.
