Packaging Development Manager (FMCG)

Salary: €65,000–€75,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end packaging development for innovation and renovation projects across diverse product ranges.
• Translate innovation concepts into scalable, on-brand, and technically feasible packaging solutions.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initial concept through validation to successful first production.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, and external suppliers to ensure manufacturability and regulatory compliance.
• Improve packaging development processes and implement best-in-class validation methods.
• Set up and evaluate production trials while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to work from Amsterdam
• Available for an 8-month interim assignment starting mid-September
• Proven experience in packaging development within FMCG or food industries.
• Strong expertise in packaging technology, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills in English.
