What you will do

• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of complex electronic and mechanical medical systems.
• Conduct failure analysis to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to eliminate failure modes.
• Manage return inventory activities, including triage, failure analysis preparation, and decontamination procedures.
• Develop and optimize processes for the testing, repair, and disposition of returned Big Capital equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to execute complex experiments and qualify products.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the manufacture and repair of Class III medical devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Experience in the medical device industry, specifically with Class II or III devices.
• Proven experience in a technical role focused on Failure Analysis or Reliability Engineering.
• Experience working with complex mechanical systems or Big Capital platforms.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Heerlen, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of product development and manufacturing engineering principles.
• Proficiency with software packages such as Agile and SAP.
